Getting started: installation, licence and first tenant

EntraGUARD·2026-07-29·6 min

EntraGUARD is a Windows desktop application — no portal, no agent, no data leaving your machine. This page takes you from the installer to a ready-to-audit workstation.

Install

Run the installer on Windows 10/11 or Windows Server. All data — configuration, certificates, audit history, exported reports — stays in a local data folder on the machine; nothing is sent to us or to any third party. Updates are delivered as new installers and never touch your data folder.

Activate the licence

Open Settings › Licence and paste your key. The licence defines how many tenants you can manage; without a valid licence you can browse the application and prepare your setup, but audits will not run. The status (valid, expired, absent) is always visible on the licence page.

Create the first tenant

Each audited organisation is a tenant in EntraGUARD, fully isolated from the others: its own connectors, certificates, audit history and reports. Create the record with the client's name — that name appears on every report you export for them — then move on to connector configuration.

Language and theme

The interface is fully bilingual (English / French) and switchable at runtime from the dashboard, as is the light/dark theme. Reports are generated in the interface language at export time.

Issuing licences to your own clients

If you bought the product for resale, the licence generator lets you issue keys for your own customers, with the tenant limits you decide. We never see your clients: the generator runs entirely on your side.

Order of operations. Install → licence → create the tenant → configure connectors → test → audit. Ten minutes on a normal day.
